I agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Terms of Use Framed Minds Terms of Use Last updated: October 26, 2026 These Terms of Use explain how you can use the Framed Minds website, apps, courses, assessments, community, and our AI assistant Echo. Framed Minds is an adult platform (18+) available in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Please read these Terms — including the arbitration agreement and class action waiver in Section 20, which does not apply to EEA/UK/Swiss consumers — carefully before using the platform. Welcome to Framed Minds. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and Framed Minds, LLC (“Framed Minds,” “we,” “us,” “our”). They govern your access to and use of: The Framed Minds website and any subdomains Our mobile applications, including those distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Our courses, programs, assessments, memberships, and related materials Our custom AI assistant, Echo Any other products or services we make available (collectively, the “Services”) How you accept these Terms You accept these Terms by affirmatively agreeing to them when you create your account. Before you first post, reply or send a message in the community, we also ask you to accept the Framed Minds Pact, our community agreement about how members treat each other. The Pact adds to these Terms; it does not replace them. Continued use of the Services also constitutes acceptance. If you don’t agree, please do not use the Services. Separately from these Terms, we will ask for your standalone, affirmative consent before what you tell us about yourself through Echo, the Self-Inventories or the features built on them is first saved on our servers, as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. That consent is separate from any choice about marketing email. If you have any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at [email protected]. For a plain-words summary of what happens to what you tell us, see What happens to what you tell us. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the full version and control if anything differs. 1. Who we are Framed Minds, LLC11816 Inwood Rd #1555Dallas, TX 75244 Email: [email protected] Framed Minds is an educational and personal-development platform. We provide tools, content, and experiences to help you explore your inner world. We do not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or crisis services. 2. Eligibility You may use the Services only if: You are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher); You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and You are located in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If you access the Services from anywhere else, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law; features may be unavailable and we may restrict access. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under mandatory local consumer-protection and data-protection law — see Sections 20 and 23, our Privacy Policy (Section 14), and our Refund & Returns Policy (your 14-day right of withdrawal). Individual use only — no organizational or clinical use Framed Minds accounts are personal accounts for your own individual development. Apart from Frames at Work for Teams (Sections 5 and 11), we do not offer organizational, employer, or practitioner accounts. Without a separate written agreement signed by Framed Minds, you may not use the Services on behalf of an organization, and in particular: healthcare providers, therapists, counselors, coaches, and similar professionals may not provision accounts for patients or clients, direct a patient’s or client’s use of the Services, receive member information, or use Framed Minds as part of patient or client care. Framed Minds is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate and does not accept protected health information in that capacity. No exceptions for minors Framed Minds is an adult platform. No part of the Services — including courses, assessments, community features, Bridges reports, events, or Echo — may be used by, or on behalf of, anyone under 18. This applies regardless of supervision, consent, or involvement by a parent, guardian, or other adult. Specifically: You may not create or maintain an account on behalf of a person under 18. You may not use your own account to run assessments, generate reports, or interact with Echo on behalf of, or in relation to, a specific person under 18. You may not allow a person under 18 to access or use your account, directly or indirectly. Age attestation During registration, you are required to attest that you are at least 18 years old. Providing false information about your age, or allowing a person under 18 to access or use your account, is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund. Notice and enforcement If we receive notice, a report, or other information indicating that an account holder is under 18, or that an account is being used by or on behalf of a person under 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate that account and delete all associated personal data, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may also, where we believe it appropriate, cooperate with relevant authorities. 3. No professional services / no emergency support Framed Minds and Echo do not provide: Therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment Legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice Emergency or crisis intervention services All content, assessments, AI responses, and materials are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis or considering self-harm, please reach out immediately: • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988 (U.S.) • Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741 (U.S.) • Outside the U.S. — findahelpline.com lists free crisis lines in your country • Emergency services — call 911 in the U.S., 112 in the EU, or your local emergency number Framed Minds is not a crisis service, and no one watches the platform around the clock. Two things do happen, and we describe them so you know their limits. First, when something you write to Echo shows signs that you may be at risk, Echo stops the reflection and gives you crisis contacts, as set out in our published Echo crisis protocol. That reply is fixed, not written by the AI, and it depends on Echo recognizing the signs, which it may not. Second, our Kindness Watch may notice signs of risk in public community posts and in Frames at Work team conversations; when it does, it sends the writer a private note with crisis resources, and a person on our team may reach out. It does not read private messages, reflections or Echo conversations, and it can miss things. Beyond these steps, we do not undertake to detect, monitor or respond to emergencies, and we do not contact emergency services on your behalf. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the services above directly. You are solely responsible for seeking appropriate professional help when needed, and for how you choose to use the information you receive through the Services. 4. Accounts and security To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to: Provide accurate, current information (including your age) Keep your login credentials confidential Not share your account or login credentials with any other person, and in particular not with any person under 18 Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if we receive notice of, or otherwise identify, conduct that violates these Terms, the Pact, or our community guidelines, or that causes or threatens harm to other members, third parties, or the platform. 5. Payments, memberships, and refunds Some parts of the Services require payment. Explorer is free. What we currently sell: paid memberships (Navigator, monthly or annual), the Circle Holder add-on (a separate monthly or annual subscription on Explorer or Navigator, which renews until you cancel it, even if your Navigator membership ends), Bridges reports (one-time, $9 or 3,000 Growth Points on Explorer; included with Navigator), Stillness sessions (one-time, including sessions created by independent Stillness Keepers), paid events (operated by Framed Minds or hosted by independent Circle Holders), Frames at Work team plans (monthly or annual), Frame Table seat fees (where they apply), and individually purchased courses or digital content where offered. Prices, payment options, and access details will be shown at checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your selected payment method. All purchases are made on our website; our mobile apps do not offer in-app purchases. Taxes may be added based on your billing address and applicable laws. Auto-renewal of memberships Memberships renew automatically. When you subscribe to a Framed Minds membership (such as Navigator or the Circle Holder add-on), we disclose the price, the billing frequency, and the renewal terms before you are charged, and we obtain your express, affirmative agreement to those terms at checkout — separately from your acceptance of these Terms. Your subscription will then automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as applicable) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel your membership at any time from your Membership Account page, on the website or in the Framed Minds mobile app. When you cancel Navigator, you choose between moving to free Explorer when your paid time ends and canceling completely, then you confirm. You don’t need to talk to anyone, and canceling is at least as easy as signing up. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to your membership benefits until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless otherwise required by applicable law or provided in our Refund & Returns Policy. If we change the price of your membership, we will notify you in advance (by email or in-app notification), and where required by law we will obtain your affirmative consent before the new price takes effect. You will always have the opportunity to cancel before a new price applies. Our mobile apps do not sell anything The Framed Minds apps for iOS and Android are access apps: they let you use your membership, but they contain no in-app purchases. All purchases and billing run through your Framed Minds account on our website, and this section and our Refund & Returns Policy govern every purchase on every device. Neither Apple nor Google is a seller of record for any Framed Minds purchase, and no app store billing terms apply. Marketplace content — Stillness Keepers and Circle Holder events Some paid content and events are created or hosted by independent members: Stillness Keepers (who create guided Stillness sessions) and Circle Holders (who may host paid events). For every such purchase, Framed Minds is the seller: we process your payment, our Refund & Returns Policy governs your refund, and requests come to us — not to the creator. At the same time, Keepers and Circle Holders are independent creators, not employees or agents of Framed Minds: their sessions and events are their own expression, are not professional or clinical services (Section 3 applies fully), and are not individually reviewed or endorsed by Framed Minds, though creators must meet our content and conduct standards and we may remove content or events that violate them. Creators participate under our Host Agreement. Selling or soliciting outside these official marketplace features remains prohibited under Section 7. Apple App Store – additional terms If you access the Services through an app obtained from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that: These Terms are between you and Framed Minds only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any claims relating to the app are governed by these Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list. Free and paid access Explorer is a free membership. It requires no payment details and can be used at no charge for as long as you like. Navigator and the Circle Holder add-on are paid subscriptions. Some paid memberships may be offered with a free trial or promotional code. We will show the trial length, the price that follows, and the renewal terms before you start, and you will be charged only after you take an affirmative step and agree to them. If you cancel before a trial ends, you will not be charged. Growth Points, Membership Credits, and gift codes Growth Points, Membership Credits, and gift codes have no cash value. How they are earned and redeemed, and any limits, are governed by the terms shown when you earn or redeem them. Refunds Our current refund and cancellation rules are described in the Refund & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully before purchasing. In the event of any conflict, the more protective and specific refund terms shown at checkout will control. Team plans (Frames at Work for Teams) A Navigator member can host up to three teams. A team of up to five people is free. A Team plan (up to 12 people, $49 a month or $490 a year) or a Team Plus plan (up to 30 people, $99 a month or $990 a year) is billed to the member who created the team and renews automatically each month or year until canceled. Canceling a monthly plan stops the next renewal, and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for, with no refund. Canceling an annual plan ends it that day, and we refund half of the unused whole months of that year (a month that has started counts as used), or the full charge if you cancel within 14 days of it. The refund goes back to the card you paid with, automatically. A team plan requires an active Navigator membership and ends at the same time if that membership ends, with the same refund for an annual plan. When a plan ends, your teams stay open on the free plan. Members who join a team do not pay for it. Affiliate Credits If someone you invited becomes a paying member, you earn Affiliate Credits equal to 11% of each membership or purchase payment that member makes on our website in the 12 months after their first paid charge. Team plans, Frame Table seat fees and gathering tickets do not earn credits. A credit is pending for 30 days, then becomes available. A refund or chargeback of the underlying payment reverses the credit. You can apply available credits to your own Framed Minds bill, or request a PayPal payout once you have $25 or more; we review and pay payout requests. Affiliate Credits have no cash value until paid, are separate from Membership Credits and Growth Points, and are never a promise of income. Host earnings (Stillness Keepers and Circle Holders) Stillness Keepers keep 60% of each paid Stillness session they create, and Circle Holders keep 80% of each paid gathering ticket, unless we agree a different share with you in writing. Only Navigator members may charge for sessions or gatherings. Earnings become available after a hold of up to 7 days (for a gathering, 7 days after it ends). If a sale is later refunded or disputed, we take back your share, from your balance or from future earnings. If you have connected a Stripe account, available earnings are sent to it automatically; otherwise you can request a PayPal payout of $25 or more. Hosting is not employment or a partnership, and earnings are not a guarantee of income. Our Host Agreement also applies. Tax details for payouts If the Affiliate Credits and host earnings paid to you in a calendar year together pass $2,000, we pause PayPal and manual payouts until you give us the tax details we are required to collect. You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax on what you receive. Balances when an account ends If you close your account, you can ask for a payout of any available balance of $25 or more before you do; smaller balances, and credits or earnings still on hold, end with the account. If we end your account for a breach of these Terms, unpaid credits and earnings may be forfeited where the law allows. 6. Intellectual property & license to use the Services Everything within the Framed Minds universe—including but not limited to: The Frames model, methods, frameworks, assessments, scoring logic, and questions Echo’s prompts, conversational flows, and personality Course content, videos, audio, meditations, exercises, text, graphics, logos, icons, and design The Framed Minds name, logo, brand assets, and look & feel is owned by Framed Minds, LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your license. Subject to these Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use. Except as expressly allowed by these Terms or otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, you may not: Copy, reproduce, record, distribute, publish, or publicly display our content without written permission Share course materials, assessments, or account access with anyone else Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the underlying logic of our assessments, scoring, or Echo’s configuration Use any part of the Services—including Echo’s outputs, Frames, assessments, or course content—to create competing products, training data, or derivative tools Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices Nothing in this Section prevents you from preserving or using your own content or records of your own account as allowed or required by law, including in a legal proceeding. If you wish to license or reference our content for professional or commercial use, contact [email protected]. 7. Your content and the licenses you give us You retain ownership of everything you create on Framed Minds. The license you grant us depends on the kind of content, because we treat public posts very differently from your private inner work: Public community content (posts, comments, forum topics) You grant Framed Minds a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for formatting), and distribute this content as reasonably necessary to operate, display, moderate, secure, and improve the community features. Private content (Echo conversations, assessment responses, reflections, journals, and private messages) You grant Framed Minds only the limited license necessary to host, store, process, transmit, secure, and display this content back to you (and, for private messages and Bridges reports, to the member you direct it to), and to operate the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Promotional use requires your separate permission — always We will never use your community posts, reflections, assessment content, Echo conversations, name, or likeness in testimonials, advertising, case studies, or any other promotional material without your separate, express, written authorization for that specific use. The licenses above do not include promotional use. Community conduct You agree not to upload, post, or share any content that is: Illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory Sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate for a personal-development community Intended to promote self-harm or harm to others Violating someone else’s intellectual property or privacy rights Containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code Soliciting, advertising, or promoting unrelated products or services without our prior written consent Sharing another member’s personal information, assessment results, or private communications without their consent Moderation and enforcement We may, at our sole discretion, remove, edit, or restrict visibility of any content that we believe violates these guidelines or is otherwise harmful to the community. Repeated or serious violations — including but not limited to harassment, hate speech, threats of harm, doxxing, or sharing other members’ private information — may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, without prior warning and without refund. We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to do so. Our community is built on safety, compassion, and mutual respect — and we will protect that environment. Copyright complaints (DMCA) We respect intellectual property rights and expect our members to do the same. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at [email protected] with “DMCA Notice” in the subject line, including: Your physical or electronic signature; Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; Identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located on the Services; Your contact information (name, address, email); A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including by removing or disabling access to allegedly infringing material and, where appropriate, terminating the accounts of repeat infringers. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. 8. How we use your data with AI — in plain terms Because Framed Minds is an AI-supported platform, we want the data rules to be unmistakable: To serve you: your Echo messages, assessment responses, and what you write in other reflective features (such as Inner Cartography and daily check-ins), and our review of public community posts, are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenRouter and Anthropic, whose Claude models may also be served through Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI, with OpenAI as a backup) to generate Echo’s replies, your results and those features, as described in detail in our Privacy Policy (Sections 5 and 10). Not to train general AI models: we do not permit our AI providers to use your content to train their general-purpose models, and we do not sell or license your content as AI training data to anyone. Not for our own model training without consent: we do not use your identifiable Echo conversations, assessment responses, reflections, or private messages to train or fine-tune AI models, or for research or product development, without your separate, express consent. Aggregated or de-identified data (which does not identify you) may be used to improve the platform. Not for advertising: none of this content is used for or shared with advertising partners. Ever. Your separate Echo & Assessment consent (see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy) governs this processing and can be withdrawn at any time. 9. Echo (AI assistant) – important limitations Echo is an artificial intelligence system, not a human being, and is identified as AI throughout the Services. Content generated by Echo — including chat replies, assessment summaries, insights, and generated meditation audio — is AI-generated. This disclosure is provided consistent with Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act for members in the European Union, and because we believe you should always know when you are talking to a machine. While you talk with Echo, a line saying “You’re talking with Echo, an AI” stays on the screen. A notice says it again when a session starts and at least every three hours while you keep talking. Echo is not a person, a therapist, a counselor or a crisis service, and it is not available to anyone under 18. If what you write suggests you may be at risk, Echo follows our published crisis protocol. We keep a count of how often that happens, without your words. Echo is available only to registered adult users (18+). You may not use Echo, or permit Echo to be used, on behalf of or in relation to any person under 18. Doing so is a material breach of these Terms. Echo is a custom AI assistant powered by third-party technology (large language models). When you interact with Echo: Your messages, recent conversation history, and relevant context (such as your first name and assessment results) are processed by our AI providers to generate responses, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They are generated probabilistically and may not have been reviewed by a human. Your conversations are stored by Framed Minds, are accessible to authorized personnel, are not legally privileged, and may be subject to legal process — see our Privacy Policy, Sections 7 and 8. By using Echo, you agree that: You will not rely on Echo for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice or emergencies. You understand Echo is a space for personal reflection, and that what you share — which may include emotional, relational, and health-related information — is handled as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Please do not share credentials or identifiers with no reflective purpose, such as passwords, full financial account numbers, or government ID numbers. If you share information about another person (a partner, family member, friend, or colleague), you represent that you do so lawfully, and you agree not to submit another person’s private, sensitive, or health information beyond what is reasonably necessary for your own reflection. Never submit information about a person under 18. You understand that Echo is not a human, not a therapist, and not your clinician or advisor. You are responsible for how you interpret and act on Echo’s responses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Framed Minds is not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on Echo’s outputs. 10. Assessments and results Our assessments, quizzes, and tools are designed for self-reflection and education. They: Do not provide a diagnosis or treatment plan Do not replace an evaluation by a licensed professional May evolve over time as we refine our models and questions You understand that your results are estimates and reflections, not fixed labels. Use of your assessment data is governed by Section 8, our Privacy Policy, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. 11. Community spaces and private messages The community conduct rules in Section 7 apply everywhere on the platform, including private messages between members. In addition: Treat private messages as private: do not share, screenshot for redistribution, or republish another member’s private messages, assessment results, or personal information without their consent. Do not use private messages to harass, solicit, proposition, market to, or pressure other members. We do not monitor private messages in the ordinary course, but we may access them in response to a report, a safety concern, suspected abuse, or legal process, and we may act on violations. Members are not Framed Minds representatives. Advice or support exchanged between members — including within circles and events — is peer conversation, not professional guidance. Frame Mirror Frame Mirror lets you send private links to people who know you so they can answer short statements about you. Send links only to adults (18 or over) who know you and who you think would be glad to answer. Do not use Frame Mirror to collect information about anyone else, to pressure anyone, or to find out who said what; results are combined for that reason, except for a “one person” link, where the person answering is told first that you will see their name. Written answers are checked for kindness before the person they describe sees them; we may hold back or remove an answer that is unkind, and you can hide or report any answer you receive. Bridges A Bridge is created with another member and only with their approval. Asking is free; if they do not answer within 14 days, the request expires. Either of you can remove a Bridge at any time; it is then deleted for both of you, including any share links. Frames at Work for Teams Joining a team shares only your display name and your lead and second Frame with that team, after you say yes, and you can leave at any time. It also adds you to the team’s private conversation, which only the people on the team can see. What you post there follows these Terms like any other post, and our Kindness Watch reads it. Frames at Work for Teams, and anything shared through it, may not be used to make or support decisions about hiring, firing, promotion, pay, performance or any other employment matter, and no employer, manager or team member may ask you to join as a condition of work. 12. Events — participation, recordings, and assumption of risk Hosts. Events may be operated by Framed Minds, hosted by independent Circle Holders, or jointly presented. The event listing identifies the host. Circle Holders are independent members, not employees or agents of Framed Minds. Participant conduct. The community conduct rules apply at all events, virtual or in person. Hosts may remove participants who violate them. Recordings and photography. Some events are recorded or photographed. If so, the event listing or registration flow will say so, and by attending a recorded event you consent to being included in the recording for the purposes described there. Virtual event recordings may be made available to other members where the listing says so. Assumption of risk. Participation in events — especially in-person events and any event involving movement, breathwork, or physical activity — carries inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk, and you are responsible for determining that participation is appropriate for you. Certain events may require you to sign a separate event waiver or agreement, which will control for that event. Emotional content. Events may involve vulnerable sharing. What other participants share at events is their personal expression, not Framed Minds content, and you agree to respect other participants’ privacy. Refunds and transfers for paid events are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Frame Tables (dinners in your city) Frame Tables are for members aged 18 and over. A table of four to eight members meets in a public restaurant, always as a group and never one on one; Frame Tables are for connection, not a dating service. Framed Minds, with the help of our AI booking assistant, chooses the venue and sets the format, but does not run the restaurant. Each person pays for their own food and drink. If a seat fee applies, it is shown once a restaurant is confirmed, before you pay; seat fees, payment windows and refunds follow our Refund & Returns Policy. Treat everyone at the table with respect: harassment, discrimination, pressure, intoxication that affects others, or contacting someone who has declined means removal from Frame Tables and may mean removal from Framed Minds. You attend by your own choice and at your own risk, and Framed Minds is not responsible for the venue, your travel, or what other members say or do. You can leave a table at any time, with no fee. If something feels wrong, leave, and use Report a concern on your Frame Tables page, during or after the evening (or write to [email protected]). When a member is reported, we pause their Frame Tables access at once and review the report within 48 hours; if we confirm it, they are removed from Frame Tables for good. We never tell the member who reported them. Once your table is set, the other members at it see your first name and your lead Frame, and nothing else from your Self-Inventory, answers or reports. They never see your email, address or last name. After the evening, if you and another member both said you’d like to stay in touch, each of you sees a link to the other’s community profile. 13. Third-party services, links, and content The Services rely on and may link to third-party services — for example, app stores, payment processors, video conferencing for virtual events, content delivery, and the AI providers described in Section 8. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content. A link from Framed Minds is not an endorsement. 14. Feedback and suggestions We love hearing your ideas. If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Services (through beta feedback tools, surveys, email, or otherwise), you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation. Feedback does not include your Echo conversations, assessment responses, reflections, or private messages — those remain governed by Sections 7 and 8. When you answer a question about a Frame’s name (for example “fits” or “not quite”, or a better word you type), you let us use your answer to choose and improve our names, including using a word you suggest as a name. We store these answers without your account, name or IP address, so we cannot tell which answer was yours. We will not quote your words publicly or in marketing, and we only ever report them as counts. 15. Prohibited uses You agree not to: Use the Services for any unlawful purpose Provide false or misleading information about your age or identity during registration Allow a person under 18 to access or use your account, directly or indirectly Use the Services, including Echo or any assessment, on behalf of or in relation to a specific person under 18 Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or related systems Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without our prior written consent Circumvent or disable security, age-verification, or access controls Use the Services to train or improve any AI model or dataset without our explicit written permission 16. Service availability, maintenance, and changes to features We work to keep Framed Minds available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. We may add, modify, or discontinue features (including beta features) at any time. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature that is material to your membership, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, where appropriate, a prorated refund or credit as described in our Refund & Returns Policy. 17. Disclaimers The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that: The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free Any particular result or outcome will arise from using the Services All information or content will be accurate, complete, or up-to-date You use the Services at your own risk. 18. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law: Framed Minds and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. The limitations in this Section do not apply to liability arising from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case, the limitation will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law. 19. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Framed Minds and our officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: Your use of the Services Your violation of these Terms (including any breach of our eligibility or age requirements) Your violation of any law or third-party right 20. Dispute resolution — arbitration agreement & class action waiver Please read this section carefully. It requires you and Framed Minds to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration and waives the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in class actions. This section does not apply to consumers in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland — see “Consumers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland” below. Consumers in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland If you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this arbitration agreement and the class action waiver do not apply to you. You may bring claims in the courts of the country in which you reside, and you retain all rights and remedies available under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence. You may also be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your country; a list of certified consumer dispute resolution bodies in EU Member States, Norway, and Iceland is maintained by the European Commission at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. (The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.) We do not commit in advance to participate in ADR proceedings except where required by law, but we will always try to resolve your concern directly first. Informal resolution first Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way. Binding arbitration If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Framed Minds each agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services (including their formation, performance, or breach) will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitrator — and not any court — will have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this arbitration agreement, including any claim that all or part of it is void or voidable. The arbitration will take place in Dallas County, Texas, unless you and we agree otherwise or the AAA rules provide for a different location. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Class action waiver You and Framed Minds each agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. Neither you nor we may participate in a class action, class arbitration, or other representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims. Exceptions Either party may bring a claim in small claims court (if the claim qualifies) or seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights, without first engaging in the informal dispute resolution process described above. Opt-out You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, the Governing Law provision below will apply. 21. Termination and data export You can close your account yourself at any time from your Privacy Settings page, on the web or in the app. It takes a confirmation and nothing more, and closing it cancels every paid plan at the same moment. You can also write to us at [email protected], but you don’t need to. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time, including for: Violation of these Terms, the Pact, or our community guidelines Violation of our eligibility or age requirements, including providing false age information, allowing a person under 18 to access or use your account, or using the Services on behalf of a person under 18 Conduct reported to us or otherwise identified that harms or threatens other members, third parties, or the integrity of the platform Extended inactivity, at our discretion and with reasonable notice Requests from law enforcement or government agencies If we terminate your paid membership without cause (that is, for reasons other than your breach of these Terms), we will refund the prorated, unused portion of the fees you prepaid for the current billing period. Exporting your content. You can export your Echo conversation history from within the platform (as a PDF) at any time while your account is active, and you may request a copy of your personal data through the process in our Privacy Policy. If you plan to close your account, please export anything you want to keep first — after deletion, we may be unable to recover it. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. We will handle personal data associated with your terminated account in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 22. Changes to the Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where required, provide additional notice (such as via email or in-app notification). For material changes, we may ask you to affirmatively accept the revised Terms before continuing to use the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms. 23. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland: the choice of Texas law does not deprive you of the protection of provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement under the law of the country where you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Section 20’s arbitration agreement does not apply to you. To the extent that a dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 20, it will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. If the law of your place of residence grants you mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived, these Terms do not limit those rights; where such rights are waivable and you have validly agreed to these Terms, these Terms apply to the fullest extent permitted. 24. Electronic communications and signatures By using the Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically — including agreements, disclosures, notices, receipts, and renewal reminders — by email, in-app notification, or posting on the Services, and you agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. You agree that your electronic acceptance of these Terms, the Pact, checkout terms, and consents constitutes a valid signature and binding agreement under the U.S. E-SIGN Act and applicable state law. Keep your email address current; notices sent to the email on your account are effective when sent. You may request paper copies of legal notices, or withdraw consent to electronic delivery, by emailing us — though withdrawing may prevent continued use of the Services. 25. General provisions Entire agreement; order of precedence. These Terms, together with the Framed Minds Pact (once you have accepted it), the Privacy Policy, the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, the Refund & Returns Policy, any consents you provide, and any terms presented at checkout or for a specific event, are the entire agreement between you and Framed Minds regarding the Services. If documents conflict, the order of precedence is: (1) specific terms shown at checkout or for a specific event; (2) the Refund & Returns Policy; (3) the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy and Privacy Policy (for data matters); (4) these Terms. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. If the class action waiver in Section 20 is held unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court, and the arbitration agreement remains in effect for all other claims. No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Framed Minds. Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law. Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, labor disputes, internet or utility failures, and failures of third-party providers. Survival. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Your Content, as to licenses granted), 8 (AI Data Use), 17 (Disclaimers), 18 (Limitation of Liability), 19 (Indemnification), 20 (Dispute Resolution), 23 (Governing Law), and this Section 25 survive termination of these Terms or your account. Export controls and sanctions. You may not use the Services in violation of U.S. export control or sanctions laws, and you represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list. Headings and interpretation. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. “Including” means “including without limitation.” 26. Accessibility We want Framed Minds to be usable by everyone. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need an accommodation, contact us at [email protected] with “Accessibility” in the subject line, and we will work with you in good faith. 27. Contact For questions about these Terms, you can reach us at: Email: [email protected] Mailing address: 11816 Inwood Rd #1555, Dallas, TX 75244 × Privacy Policy Framed Minds Privacy Policy Last updated: October 26, 2026 Framed Minds is an adult platform (18+) available in the United States, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. This Privacy Policy explains how Framed Minds, LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, create an account, participate in courses or events, complete assessments, interact with Echo, or communicate with us in any way. Because Framed Minds is a reflective self-awareness platform (a way of noticing, built from practice, not a clinical test), this Policy works together with our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which addresses the more sensitive information you may share here. We respect your privacy. We also believe clarity builds trust — so we’ve written this policy in a way that’s meant to be readable, not intimidating. This Policy explains how Framed Minds, LLC (“Framed Minds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you: Visit our website Create or manage an account Use courses, assessments, reflections, and community features Register for events (virtual or local) Interact with Echo Contact us for support or other questions Quick summary: Framed Minds is available only to adults (18+) in the United States, the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland (Section 14 covers international users). We collect what we need to provide the platform, improve it, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Echo conversations or assessment results for advertising. Because Framed Minds invites emotional reflection, some of what you share may be sensitive — before what you tell us about yourself through Echo, the Self-Inventories or the features built on them is first saved on our servers, we ask for your separate, affirmative consent, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains exactly how that information is handled. The short version, in plain words, is on one page: What happens to what you tell us. This Policy is the full version. If the two ever seem to differ, this Policy controls, and please tell us so we can fix the page. Please read this Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our Services. This Policy is part of, and governed by, our Terms of Use. 1. Who we are and how to contact us Framed Minds, LLC 11816 Inwood Rd #1555 Dallas, TX 75244 Email: [email protected] If you have questions about this Policy or your personal data, email us. If you’re making a privacy request (like access or deletion), please include “Privacy Request” in the subject line so we can route it quickly. 2. Information we collect We collect information in three main ways: (1) information you provide, (2) information collected automatically, and (3) information we receive from third parties that help us run the platform. a. Information you provide directly Account information – name, email address, and other details you choose to provide. Your login password is processed and stored in hashed (encrypted, non-readable) form by our platform software; we do not store or have access to your password in readable form. Age details – your date of birth and your confirmation that you are at least 18 years of age, collected at sign-up or checkout. We do not knowingly create or maintain accounts for anyone under 18. Profile information – preferences, interests, and other details you add to your profile Community content – posts, comments, and messages you choose to share within the community. Content you share in community spaces may be visible to other members. The Pact – When a post first asks you to accept the Pact, we note the date and where it was asked (for example, the app), so we know the ask reached you; this is deleted with your account. Private reflections and journals – reflections you record through our Reflections features are private by default and are not visible to other members. Assessment responses and results – answers, reflections, and notes you enter during assessments, together with the scores and AI-generated summaries those assessments produce Echo conversations – the messages you send to Echo and the responses Echo returns Framed Origin Map – if you use it, your birth date, birth time and birth place Event registrations – registration details needed to manage attendance and event communication Purchases and billing – purchase confirmations and limited billing details (payment is processed by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not collect or store full credit card numbers) Support and communications – emails, forms, survey responses, and other messages you send us b. Information collected automatically When you use the Services, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect: Device and browser information (device type, operating system, browser type) IP address and approximate location (derived from IP) Log and usage data (pages viewed, time spent, navigation paths, errors) Feature activity (which features you use, clicks, and interactions needed to run the platform) Invitations and referrals (if you arrive through a member’s invite link, a cookie remembers that member for 30 days; if you join, they may be told your display name and that you joined or became a paying member, because they may earn rewards for it) Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (to keep you logged in, remember preferences, support analytics, and, where permitted and subject to your choices, measure our advertising on public pages, sign-up and checkout. Never on a page that asks you about yourself). See Section 11. c. Information from third parties We may receive information from third parties such as: Payment processors (Stripe and PayPal: confirmation of payments and limited transaction details) Email and communication services (delivery and engagement metrics like opens/clicks when enabled) Analytics and advertising providers (aggregate performance and usage information, and measurement of our marketing campaigns — for example, Meta) AI technology providers that help us deliver Echo, assessments, and audio features (described in detail in Section 5 and listed in Section 10) Content delivery and security providers (such as Cloudflare) that help us deliver, protect, and optimize the platform d. Information from features you choose to use Frame Mirror (people who answer about you) – When you send a Frame Mirror link, the person who opens it answers a short set of statements about you, chosen from your own results (about 14 on Explorer and 20 on Navigator) and may add one line and answer one question you chose. We never ask them for an email address or an account. For a “one person” link (for example a partner) we ask for their first name and tell them before they start that you will see their answers with their name; friends-and-family and work-team links are anonymous, take effect only once at least three people (four for a work team) have answered, and never show you who said what. A work-team link takes no written answers. We store the answers, the time, and a one-way scrambled code made from the answering network address, used only to stop abuse (at most 10 answers an hour per network); we cannot turn it back into an address. A small cookie on the answering device remembers that an answer was given, and if that person later joins we note that they came through a Mirror link (no reward is attached). Their written lines and answers are read once by our Kindness Watch (an AI model, through the AI providers listed in Section 10), only to hold back anything unkind before you see it, and the person answering is told this on the form. They are never used for Echo’s reading, which for Navigators uses only the combined answers. You can hide any written answer you receive, and reporting one sends it to our team. Links expire after 30 days. People who answer must be 18 or over, and can ask us to delete an answer at [email protected] (we will need the link they used). Inner Cartography – To draw your map, we send the first names you enter for the people closest to you, together with what you wrote about them, to our AI provider. Those people have no Framed Minds account. We send first names only, and Inner Cartography (unlike the Framed Origin Map) does not ask for your date, time or place of birth. Frame Tables – When you hold a seat we store your city, the evenings that suit you, the kind of table and conversation you prefer, an optional dietary note, and your two leading Frames, used to seat the table and to choose your own ice-breaker prompt for the evening (nobody else sees it). Our Table Host, an AI assistant that finds and books restaurants, sees only how many people at a table share each lead Frame and any dietary notes, never names. After an evening you can say who you would like to stay in touch with; we only connect two people when both said yes, and then each sees a link to the other’s community profile. Once your table is set, the other members at it see your first name and your lead Frame, and nothing else from your Self-Inventory, answers or reports. They never see your email, address or last name. If you report a concern about a table, we store your report and our review; only our team sees it, and the member you report is never told who reported them. When a paid plan ends – About an hour after a paid plan (such as Navigator) ends, we may send you one email asking why, at most once every 180 days. If you answer, your reason and anything you write go to our founder, and we keep them with your account. Frame Glimpse (before you have an account) – On our Frame Glimpse page you can guess which Frame leads for you and answer a few quick questions. Your guess and your answers stay in your own browser and are never sent to us; we only count anonymous steps (for example, that someone finished). If you ask us to email your glimpse, and agree to it, we keep your email address, the Frame your glimpse leaned toward, and a record of your yes (the wording you agreed to and when). We send you that one email, never add you to our newsletter unless you ask, and never use that Frame for advertising. After 12 months we delete the Frame and the record, and your email address too, unless you have an account, have signed up for our letter, or gave it to us another way. Your guess and your answers stay on your device. If you later create an account and say yes to the consent described in Section 5, your guess and the Frame your glimpse leaned toward are saved to your account. Frame name feedback – Since the Frames have new names, a short question may ask whether a name fits what it describes. You can answer “fits”, “not quite” or “not sure”, pick a suggested word, or type a better word of your own (up to 40 characters). We store your answer, the name and Frame it was about, which page you saw it on, whether you were signed out, on Explorer or on Navigator, and the day. We do not store your account, name, email or IP address, or the time of day, so we cannot link an answer back to you, and so we cannot find one answer to delete it later. To stop one person answering many times, your browser remembers that you answered, and we keep a scrambled code made from your network address, the day and the Frame for 24 hours; it cannot be turned back into an address. Typed words are filtered (no links, numbers or addresses) and deleted after 180 days. The rest stays as counts that help us review the names. The question never appears on checkout, the Pact, a Self-Inventory in progress, Stillness, Echo or crisis pages. Please don’t type anything about your health or about another person. Replies to public conversations – We sometimes reply to public conversations on other sites (for example a question on Stack Exchange or Reddit). When we use our drafting tool for a reply, the public text of that conversation may be processed by our AI providers (Section 10) to help draft it; other replies we write ourselves. We keep only the link and a short excerpt, never the author’s name. Conversations we pass on are deleted within 3 days, and any we don’t review within 14 days. Frames at Work for Teams – When you join a team, after you say yes, we share your display name and your lead and second Frame with that team, and add you to the team’s private conversation, a group only the people on the team can see. Echo writes the first post there from the team’s Frames (how many people each Frame leads for, never names or scores). Leaving the team takes you out of the conversation. Team plans are billed to the member who created the team. The Frame leading today – If you choose one after your Daily Compass check-in, we save that Frame with your check-ins. Payout and tax information – If you request a payout of Affiliate Credits or host earnings, we collect your payout details (such as your PayPal email, or the bank details you give our payment provider), the amount and date of each payout, and, once your payouts pass the yearly reporting threshold, the tax details we are required to collect (such as your legal name, address and tax identification number). We keep these records for 7 years for tax and financial recordkeeping. 3. Sensitive information you may share — and how we treat it Framed Minds is a reflective platform. Assessments, Echo conversations, reflections, and community posts naturally invite you to describe your emotional patterns, reactions, protective behaviors, and relationships. Although Framed Minds is educational and non-clinical — we never diagnose you, and our results are not medical or psychological evaluations — the information you choose to share may nonetheless reveal, or allow inferences about, sensitive aspects of your life, such as: Mental or physical health, including a diagnosis you mention Trauma or past experiences Disability Sexuality, sexual life, or sexual orientation Religious or philosophical beliefs Racial or ethnic origin Substance use Family, marital, and relationship circumstances We treat all Echo conversations, assessment responses and results, and private reflections as potentially sensitive information, regardless of what they contain. That means, at a minimum: We ask for your separate, affirmative consent before what you tell us about yourself through Echo, the Self-Inventories or the features built on them is first saved on our servers, as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy; We do not use this information for advertising or sell it to anyone; We limit access to it as described in Sections 7 and 9; and You can request deletion of it as described in Sections 15 and 16. You are never required to share sensitive personal information to use Framed Minds. What you disclose — and how much — is always your choice. 4. How we use your information We use your information for these core purposes: Provide and maintain the Services Create and manage your account Deliver courses, assessments, reflections, and community features Support events (registration, attendee updates, organizer tools) Enable Echo and other interactive experiences Process payments, memberships, and refunds in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy Personalize your experience Tailor content and prompts Show progress, saved items, and relevant resources Support features that help you pick up where you left off Operate, protect, and improve the platform Monitor performance, debug issues, and prevent abuse Understand how features are used so we can improve them, using aggregate usage data wherever possible Enforce our Terms of Use and the community commitments in the Framed Minds Pact Verify that users meet our minimum age requirement A note on improvement: when we improve or develop features, we rely on aggregated or de-identified information wherever possible. We do not use your identifiable Echo conversations or assessment responses to develop new features, for research, or for AI model development without your separate consent, as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Market and grow the platform Measure the performance of our advertising and understand which campaigns bring people to Framed Minds Reach people who may be interested in Framed Minds, using advertising and measurement tools (such as Meta) on our public pages, sign-up and checkout only, in line with the choices and opt-out controls in Sections 11 and 17. These tools never run on a page that asks you about yourself. Echo conversations, assessment responses and results, and private reflections are never used for these purposes. Communicate with you Send transactional messages (account updates, event confirmations, receipts, membership renewal notices) Respond to support questions and requests Send optional updates or promotional messages (you can opt out any time) Comply with legal obligations Protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our platform and users Respond to lawful requests when required (see Section 8) 5. Echo and AI processing — how it actually works Echo is designed to support your experience inside Framed Minds. Echo is available only to registered adult users (18+). We do not permit minors to interact with Echo under any circumstances. Before what you tell us about yourself through Echo, the Self-Inventories or the features built on them is first saved on our servers (for example, your Self-Inventory answers, a message to Echo, Inner Cartography, a Frame Mirror request, your Framed Origin Map details, the Frame you pick as leading today, or a moment from Echo you save as a reflection), we ask for your separate, affirmative consent. It is one clear question, asked at that moment, separate from our Terms and from any choice about marketing email. Until you say yes, what you have entered there is not saved by us. If you said yes before October 26, 2026, under consent text 1.0 or 1.1, that consent stays valid and we will not ask again. That consent covers the processing described in this Section and in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. The processing chain When you send Echo a message, here is what happens: Your message is sent from your device to Framed Minds’ servers. Framed Minds sends your message — together with limited context needed to respond — through OpenRouter (an AI routing service) to an Anthropic large language model (the Claude model family), which generates Echo’s reply. Anthropic’s Claude models may be served by Anthropic directly or, when Anthropic is busy, through Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) or Google Cloud (Vertex AI), which run the same Claude models for us under their business terms and may not use your content to train their models. If Claude is briefly unavailable, OpenRouter sends the same request to a backup model from OpenAI, which likewise may not use it to train its general models. Echo’s reply is returned to Framed Minds and displayed to you. The same chain is used when our features write from what you enter elsewhere: your assessment results, Inner Cartography, the daily check-in, Frame Mirror and team readings (combined answers only), Echo’s first post in a team conversation (Frame counts only), and the Kindness Watch review of public posts, team conversations and written Frame Mirror answers (Section 7), and, when we use our drafting tool, the public text of a conversation on another site that we reply to. What is included in the request Your current message; Your recent Echo conversation history (so Echo can follow the conversation); Your first name and limited profile details, so Echo can respond personally; Your assessment results (such as Frame activation scores and your Frame Stack), where relevant to your question; and Platform context such as courses, events, or groups, when you ask about them. Because Echo is personalized, requests are not anonymized before they are sent — your first name and your own results may be included so Echo can speak to you directly. Requests do not include your email address, payment details, or password. Where your Echo data lives Framed Minds stores your Echo conversations and assessment results on our own systems, separately from our AI providers, so we can show you your history and provide your results. Retention is described in Section 12. Our AI providers process requests on our behalf under their business/API terms. Under those terms, they do not use our API content to train their general-purpose models, and they retain API content only for limited periods for abuse and safety monitoring. We do not permit our AI providers to use your content to train general models. Voice features Voice input: if you use voice input with Echo, your speech is converted to text by your own browser or device’s built-in speech-recognition service (for example, Google or Apple, depending on your device). Framed Minds receives only the resulting text — we do not receive, record, or store your voice audio. Your device vendor’s privacy policy governs that conversion. Voice output: Echo’s spoken replies and narrated lessons are generated by sending the text of the reply or lesson to OpenAI’s text-to-speech service, which returns an audio file. Guided Stillness meditations are generated the same way using OpenAI and/or ElevenLabs voices. These providers receive the text to be spoken — they never receive your voice, and we do not use your voice for any voice-development purpose. Summary video, Framed Origin Map, and Bridges Reflection in Motion (summary video): when you ask for your summary video, Echo writes a short narration from your results, OpenAI voices it, and JSON2Video renders the video from that narration, its on-screen words, and your first name. The finished video is stored on our servers. Framed Origin Map: the birth place you type is looked up with Google Maps Platform (in your browser as you type, and on our servers to find its location and its time zone on your birth date). Google does not receive your name; the map itself is computed on our servers. Bridges: a Bridge is made only after the friend you invite agrees to it. Echo’s reading of your Frames together is then shown to both of you. Echo is clearly identified as AI Echo is an artificial intelligence system, not a human. Echo is identified as AI throughout the interface, consistent with the transparency requirements of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Art. 50) for members in the European Union. Content generated by Echo — including assessment summaries, insights, and generated meditation audio — is AI-generated and is labeled or presented as such. While you talk with Echo, a line saying “You’re talking with Echo, an AI” stays on the screen. A notice says it again when a session starts, and again at least every three hours while you keep talking. Echo is not a person, a therapist or a crisis service. If something you write suggests you may be at risk of harming yourself, Echo stops the reflection and gives you crisis contacts: the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the U.S. (call or text 988), findahelpline.com for other countries, and your local emergency number. This is a fixed reply, not one the AI writes, and our full Echo crisis protocol is published at framedminds.com/echo-crisis-protocol. We keep a count of how often the crisis reply is shown, without the words you wrote, so we can check that the protocol works and report on it where the law requires. Your controls Echo is optional. You can decline or withdraw consent for Echo and assessments and still use the rest of the platform (courses, community, Stillness, and events remain available; Echo chat, assessments, and features built on assessment results, including Inner Cartography, Frame Mirror, Frame Tables and Frames at Work teams, will be unavailable). You can request deletion of your Echo conversation history and assessment history — without deleting your entire account — as described in Section 15. Important: Echo is not a therapist, counselor, or crisis service, and conversations with Echo are not confidential in the way conversations with a licensed professional are. Please see Section 8 (Legal process & discoverability) before sharing anything you would not want to exist in a written record. Please also do not share information like passwords, full financial account numbers, full government IDs, or confidential employer data in Echo conversations. 6. How we use assessment data Assessment responses and results are used to: Generate your results, summaries, and platform experiences related to your participation (your responses are processed by our AI providers, as described in Section 5, to produce your results) Support your ability to track patterns over time within Framed Minds Personalize Echo’s responses and features such as Daily Compass and Frame Insights We may use aggregated and/or de-identified assessment data (data that does not identify you personally) to analyze trends and improve platform features and experiences. We do not sell your personal assessment data, and we do not use your individual assessment responses or results for advertising. Who can see your results Your individual assessment results are not displayed to other members except as you direct — for example, if you choose to share a report through a share link, or participate in a Bridges report with another member (in which case limited assessment information is shared with that participant as part of the feature). Like any online service, however, a limited set of authorized people and systems can technically access your results in order to operate the platform: Framed Minds administrators and support personnel (for support, safety, and quality purposes — see Section 7), our hosting and security providers, our AI providers when generating your results, and system logs and backups. We do not share your individual results with employers, insurers, or other third parties without your explicit consent, except where we are required to do so by law or valid legal process (see Section 8). 7. Monitoring and human review — please read this We want to be direct about this rather than bury it: your Echo conversations and assessment results are accessible to authorized Framed Minds personnel, and may be reviewed by a human. Automated monitoring: our systems and our AI providers’ systems automatically screen Echo interactions for abuse prevention, safety, and reliability. Our Kindness Watch uses an AI model, through the AI providers listed in Section 10, to read each new public post, comment and forum reply, and each post and comment in a Frames at Work team conversation, within minutes. It tells our team about posts that may be hurtful, and about posts suggesting the writer may be at risk, so a person can follow up. It never hides a post on its own. It also reads each written Frame Mirror answer before the person it describes sees it, and holds back one that reads as unkind. If your post suggests you may be at risk, we automatically send you a private note with crisis resources (at most once a day), and a person on our team may follow up. This is not a monitoring service: it reads only the posts and answers described here, it can miss things, and no one watches around the clock. Echo’s own crisis steps are in our published Echo crisis protocol. Private messages, reflections and Echo conversations are not part of this. Human review: authorized Framed Minds administrators and support personnel can view Echo conversation history and assessment results — for example, to troubleshoot a problem you report, investigate suspected abuse or a Terms violation, respond to a safety concern, or maintain quality. Access is limited to personnel who need it for these purposes. AI-assisted review of how members use the platform: an AI assistant (Anthropic’s Claude) reviews each member’s recent path through the platform (pages and features used, timings, membership status and first name; never your answers, Echo conversations, messages, email address or IP address) to suggest improvements to our team. Nothing changes for you automatically. We do not monitor your private reflections or private journals in the ordinary course, and we do not review Echo conversations for curiosity or marketing. But you should use Framed Minds knowing that what you write is not invisible to us. 8. Legal process and discoverability — please read this too Your Framed Minds content is not legally privileged. Unlike communications with your attorney, therapist, or doctor, the information you share with Framed Minds — including Echo conversations, assessment responses and results, reflections, private messages, and community posts — is not protected by any legal privilege. It exists as a written record, and it may be subject to subpoena, discovery requests, court orders, or other legal process — for example, in a divorce, custody, employment, or other legal proceeding involving you. If we receive a subpoena, court order, or other legally binding request for your information, we may be required to produce it. Where legally permitted and practical, we will attempt to notify you before producing your information so you have an opportunity to object, but we cannot guarantee notice in every case. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to share. Framed Minds is a space for honest reflection — but it is a documented one. 9. How we share information We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations: Service providers We use vendors to help operate the platform — hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, content delivery and security, and the AI providers that power Echo, assessments, and audio features. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us. We maintain data processing agreements with providers that handle personal data on our behalf, and Section 10 lists the material providers we currently use. Advertising and measurement partners We use advertising and measurement technologies (such as the Meta pixel) to understand how our marketing performs and to reach people who may be interested in Framed Minds. Depending on your settings, this may involve sharing limited information (such as a hashed identifier, device data, or the fact that you took an action like signing up) with these partners. You can opt out as described in Sections 11 and 17. We do not share your Echo conversations, assessment responses or results, or private reflections with advertising partners, and we do not fire advertising events from any page that asks you about yourself: the Frame Glimpse, the Self-Inventories, Frame Mirror answer pages, Bridges, the Daily Compass, Echo, and your reflections and courses, and, once you are signed in, from any page except checkout. Purchases of Stillness sessions, Frame Table seats and Bridge Reports are never reported to advertising partners. Event organizers (when you register for an event) Framed Minds events may be operated by Framed Minds directly, hosted by independent Circle Holders (members approved to host circles and events), or jointly presented. When you register, your registration details (your name and the information you provide during registration) are shared with the host so they can manage attendance and communicate updates. Event listings will identify the host and indicate whether an event is recorded and whether it is open to other members. Event registration never gives a host access to your assessment results or Echo conversations. Other members (community features) If you post in community spaces, your display name and content will be visible to other members. A Bridge is made only after the friend you invite agrees to it; once you both have, Echo’s reading of your Frames together, drawn from both of your assessment results, is shown to each of you. If you create a share link for a report, anyone with the link can view the shared report until the link is revoked or expires. You control what you share in these contexts. Professional advisors Lawyers, accountants, auditors, or insurers when reasonably necessary for our business operations. Legal and safety reasons To comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or government request (see Section 8) To protect the rights, property, or safety of Framed Minds, our users, or the public Business transfers If we undergo a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you (via email or prominent notice on our website) before your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Teams and Frame Tables A team sees each member’s display name and lead and second Frame, and nothing else from their Self-Inventory, reports or Echo; leaving a team removes you from its map at once, and the person who created the team sees no more than anyone else on it. At a Frame Table, once the table is set, the other members see your first name and your lead Frame, and nothing else from your Self-Inventory, answers or reports. After the evening, if you and another member both said you’d like to stay in touch, each of you sees a link to the other’s community profile. We tell a restaurant only the number of seats and, if given, dietary notes without names. 10. Our service providers (subprocessor list) In the interest of transparency — and because of the sensitive nature of what you may share here — this is the current list of material third-party providers that may process personal information on our behalf, and what they do. We will update this list as our providers change. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies We use cookies and similar technologies for several purposes: Strictly necessary – keep you logged in and help the platform function properly Preferences – remember settings and choices Analytics – understand how the Services are used and improve performance Advertising and measurement – measure how our marketing performs and, where permitted, support advertising. This includes the Meta pixel, which can record actions such as viewing a page, starting a sign-up, or completing registration so we can measure and improve our campaigns. The Meta pixel runs only on our public pages, sign-up and checkout. It never runs on a page that asks you about yourself, or on the checkout for a Stillness session, Frame Table seat or Bridge Report. Once you are signed in, it runs only on checkout, because Echo is on every other page. The same rule keeps Google Analytics off every page that asks you about yourself and, once you are signed in, off every page except checkout. Our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) may also set cookies as part of its services to protect the platform from malicious traffic. Some features set their own cookies: a referral cookie that remembers which member invited you (30 days); fm_mirror_dev, which remembers on your own device that you made a Frame Mirror link (1 year); a cookie on the device of someone answering a Frame Mirror link (Section 2d); fm_team_return, which brings you back to a team invitation after you sign in (2 hours); and fm_attr_first and fm_attr_last, which remember for 30 days how you first and last reached us (the campaign tags in the link, or the site you came from) and the page you landed on. If you create an account or buy something, we copy them onto the account or order so we can tell which campaigns bring people in. On blog posts we show our own promotions (house ads) to visitors who are signed out and to Explorers; they use no third-party ad network and do not track you across sites. Your controls On your first visit, a small banner asks about non-essential cookies. In Europe (judged from your device’s time zone), analytics and advertising stay off unless you choose “Accept all” or switch them on under “Choose”. Elsewhere, they are on unless you turn them off: the banner offers “Choose” and a “Do not sell or share my personal information” link, which switches advertising off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as that opt-out and advertising stays off. You can change your choice any time from the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of every page, or through your browser settings. Your choice is kept in a first-party cookie (fm_cc) for 12 months, and we keep a record of it as described in Section 12. If you remove or reject cookies, some features may not work as intended. If you’d like help adjusting cookie or advertising settings, contact us at [email protected]. Server-side measurement In addition to the pixel in your browser, we may send Meta a record of key actions (signing up, starting a trial, a purchase) from our own servers so Meta can measure our ads. We never send it from a page that asks you about yourself, and it never includes anything you answered or wrote. It includes the name of what you signed up for and its value, hashed (scrambled) versions of your email address, name and member number, your IP address and browser details, and Meta’s own cookie IDs. We send it only when your browser carries the Meta advertising cookie, meaning you have allowed advertising cookies, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. In Europe, advertising cookies stay off unless you turn them on (see “Your controls” above). Purchases of Stillness sessions, Frame Table seats and Bridge Reports are never sent. You can opt out through our cookie preferences or your ad settings with Meta. Counting how people join (our own servers) To see whether people find their way in, we count, for each day, how many people reach each step: opening the Frame Glimpse, answering its first question, finishing it, saving it or having it emailed, creating an account, finishing the Introductory Self-Inventory, starting Navigator, and the first payment. Each count is split by the kind of page someone first came in on and a broad source (for example paid social, search, a referral or an invitation), read from the cookies above. We keep totals only: no account, no IP address, and nothing finer than the day. Nothing is sent to an advertising platform. 12. Data retention We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain platform integrity and security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Our current retention practices, by data type: Data typeRetention Account records (name, email, profile)Life of the account, plus up to 90 days after account deletion for wind-down, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping Echo conversationsLife of the account, until you delete your Echo history, or the period you choose in Privacy Settings (30 days, 90 days or 1 year), whichever is sooner Assessment responses & resultsLife of the account, or until you request deletion of your assessment history — retained by default so you can track your patterns over time Private reflections / journalsLife of the account, or until you delete an entry Community posts & commentsLife of the account; on account deletion, posts that others have replied to may be retained in anonymized form to preserve discussion integrity Private messages between membersRetained while either participant’s account remains active; your identifying details are removed from the other participant’s copy on your deletion where technically feasible Support communicationsUp to 3 years after the matter closes Billing & transaction records7 years, as required for tax and financial recordkeeping Consent records (the consent you give before we first save what you tell us, and the Pact when you accept it before your first post, reply or message in the community: the date and time, the Pact version, your IP address and browser)Life of the account plus 5 years, to document compliance Cookie choicesThe choice itself stays in your browser for 12 months. If you close your account, we deactivate and delete personal data on the schedule above, subject to legal obligations, evidence-preservation duties, fraud prevention, and backup cycles. 13. Security We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized access. These include encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), web application firewall protections, access controls limiting who can view sensitive data, and periodic security reviews. We maintain internal procedures for responding to suspected security incidents and will notify you and regulators of a breach where required by law. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password and account information safe. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected]. 14. International users — EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland Framed Minds is available to individuals in the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 (as amended, including by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025), or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection apply to our processing of your personal data, and this section applies to you in addition to the rest of this Policy. Controller Framed Minds is the controller of your personal data. Our contact details are in Section 20. Legal bases for processing We process personal data on the following legal bases: Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — creating and managing your account, delivering courses, community features, events, memberships, and billing. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — Echo conversations, assessments, marketing emails, non-essential cookies and pixels, and push notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. Explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)) — for special category data. The content of your Echo conversations, assessments, and the Reflections you save from Echo may reveal information about your health (including mental health), sex life or sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, or other special categories. We process this content only with the separate, explicit consent you give before it is first saved on our servers (see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which also serves as our special-category-data notice for EEA/UK users). Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — platform security, fraud prevention, aggregate analytics, community safety monitoring of public content, and service improvement using de-identified data. You may object at any time (see rights below). Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — tax, accounting, and responses to valid legal process. Your rights (EEA/UK/Switzerland) In addition to everything in Section 16, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; erasure (“right to be forgotten”); restrict processing; data portability (receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format); object to processing based on legitimate interests; object to direct marketing at any time; withdraw consent at any time; and not be subject to solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects — Echo does not make any such decisions about you. To exercise any of these, use the process in Section 16. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office — ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, but you may contact your authority at any time. International data transfers Framed Minds is operated from the United States, and your personal data is stored and processed in the United States. For transfers of EEA, UK, and Swiss personal data, we rely on: (a) the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, for providers that are certified under those frameworks; (b) the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum / International Data Transfer Agreement) with providers where applicable; and (c) your explicit consent to the transfer where you have been informed of the possible risks (Art. 49(1)(a)) — which is included in the Echo/assessment consent for that content. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards via Section 20. 15. Your choices Marketing emails – We send our newsletter and offers only if you opt in: an unticked box when you sign up, or the toggle in your privacy settings. Unsubscribe any time using the “unsubscribe” link or by emailing [email protected]. We’ll still send essential transactional emails (account confirmations, renewal notices, security alerts). Emails from ads and forms – If you give us your email address through a Framed Minds ad on any platform, a lead form, or another sign-up form, we may send you emails about Framed Minds, such as updates, offers, and invitations. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Cookies & advertising – Manage non-essential cookies and pixels through our cookie preferences banner or your browser settings, as described in Section 11. Echo & assessment consent – You can withdraw your consent to Echo and assessment processing at any time through your account settings or by emailing us; Echo and assessment features will become unavailable, and the rest of the platform will keep working. See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Delete Echo history – Delete your Echo conversation history, without deleting your account, from Privacy Settings or by emailing us with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. In Privacy Settings you can also choose to have conversations older than 30 days, 90 days or 1 year deleted automatically. Delete assessment history – Request deletion of your assessment history the same way. Note that deleting assessment history removes the results that power personalized features, and any Bridges report you previously shared with another member will no longer display your details. Account details – Update certain profile details inside your account. See, download or delete your data – If you are signed in, you can see what we hold about you, download a copy, or delete your account at any time on your Privacy Settings page, on the web or in the app. Deleting takes a confirmation and nothing more: you don’t need to write to us, and every paid plan is canceled at the same moment. You can also email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line (Section 12 describes what is deleted and on what schedule; Section 16 describes the process and timeline). 16. Your privacy rights, our process, and appeals Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights that include: The right to access and receive a copy of your personal data The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete information The right to request deletion of personal data The right to opt out of targeted advertising The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (including consent relating to Echo and assessments) How to submit a request Email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or use the privacy request options in your account settings. To protect your information, we verify requests before acting on them — typically by confirming control of the email address on the account, and, where the request involves sensitive data, through an additional verification step. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authorization and may still verify your identity directly. Timeline We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If we need more time, we may extend once by an additional 45 days and will tell you why. Appeals If we decline all or part of your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision (or emailing us with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line) within 60 days. A different reviewer will consider your appeal and respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, we will provide a way to contact your state Attorney General to submit a complaint (for Texas residents, the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. 17. U.S. state privacy rights If you are a resident of Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Washington, Nevada, or another U.S. state with an applicable consumer privacy or consumer health data law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. Selling, sharing, and targeted advertising We do not sell your personal information for money (as defined under applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act). We use advertising and measurement technologies (such as the Meta pixel) that, depending on configuration, may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. You have the right to opt out, and you can do so through our cookie preferences banner, your browser settings, a recognized opt-out preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), or by emailing us. We do not use sensitive personal information (including Echo conversations, assessment responses and results, and private reflections) for targeted advertising or for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the Services and as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Consumer health data Some states (including Washington and Nevada) regulate “consumer health data.” Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes the categories of such data we may collect, our purposes, the categories of third parties and affiliates with whom it may be shared, and how to exercise your rights regarding it — including withdrawing consent. Your state-specific rights may include The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share The right to delete personal information we have collected from you The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising The right to correct inaccurate personal information The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information The right to appeal our decision on your request (see Section 16) The right to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights To exercise any of these rights, follow the process in Section 16. 18. Age requirement and children’s privacy Framed Minds is an adult platform. Our Services — including the website, courses, assessments, community features, Bridges reports, events, and Echo — are designed exclusively for adult learners engaged in their own personal and professional development. You must be at least 18 years old to register for, access, or use any part of the Services. No exceptions Framed Minds does not offer any product, feature, or experience for individuals under 18. This applies regardless of supervision, consent, or involvement by a parent, guardian, or other adult. Specifically: Parents, guardians, and other adults may not create or maintain an account on behalf of a person under 18. Parents, guardians, and other adults may not use their own account to run assessments, generate reports, or interact with Echo on behalf of, or in relation to, a specific person under 18. Allowing a person under 18 to use your account, directly or indirectly, is a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in immediate termination of your account. Age attestation During registration, you are required to attest that you are at least 18 years old. Providing false information about your age is a violation of our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to request additional information to verify age, and to suspend or terminate any account where we have reason to believe the user is under 18. No knowing collection of data from minors We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. This includes information entered during registration, profile setup, assessments, community participation, events, or Echo conversations. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18 — whether directly or through an adult’s account — we will delete that information and terminate the associated account as promptly as reasonably practicable, subject to legal hold, evidence-preservation, fraud prevention, and backup-cycle requirements. Reporting a suspected underage account (takedown requests only) If you are a parent, guardian, or any other person who believes that someone under 18 has created or accessed a Framed Minds account, email [email protected] with “Minor Account Report” in the subject line. This channel exists solely to request the removal of an underage account and the deletion of associated data. It is not, and may not be used as, a pathway to: Enroll, register, or create an account for a person under 18; Request access to Framed Minds on behalf of a person under 18; Run assessments, generate reports, or interact with Echo for or about a person under 18; or Authorize any other use of the Services by a person under 18. On receiving a Minor Account Report, we will acknowledge receipt, investigate, and take appropriate action, which may include suspending the account and deleting associated personal information. To protect the privacy of all account holders, we may not be able to confirm to the reporter whether a particular account exists, who owns it, or what specific action was taken. 19. Changes to this Privacy Policy We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as via email or in-app notification). For material changes affecting how we handle Echo conversations, assessment data, or other sensitive information, we will seek renewed consent where required. When we moved the consent question to the moment you first save something about yourself (consent text 1.2, October 26, 2026), consents given under texts 1.0 and 1.1 stayed valid. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. 20.
