Common questions

Is this therapy?

No. Framed Minds is not therapy, and it does not diagnose, treat, or attempt to “fix” you.

Framed Minds is a self-understanding and reflection platform designed to help you recognize patterns, language, and protective responses that shape how you experience life. Many people use Framed Minds alongside therapy, but it is not a replacement for professional mental health care.

Who is Framed Minds for?

Framed Minds is for people who want clarity—not condemnation.

  • Want to understand why they respond the way they do
  • Are tired of being told they’re “broken” or need to be fixed
  • Value language, insight, and self-awareness over quick hacks
  • Want growth without shame, pressure, or performance

You don’t need to be in crisis, and you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need curiosity and honesty.

What are Frames (in plain language)?

Frames are protective patterns—ways your mind learned to interpret the world in order to stay safe, connected, or in control.

They are not flaws. They are not diagnoses. They are not your identity.

Frames explain why certain reactions, habits, or inner narratives make sense—given what you’ve lived through.

What happens after the Self-Inventory?

After completing the Self-Inventory, you receive:

  • Insight into your dominant Frames
  • Language to understand your patterns without judgment
  • Guidance on where to begin (reflection, courses, practices, or community)

From there, you choose your pace. Nothing is forced. There’s no “right” order—just a clear starting point.

What’s the difference between Explorer and Navigator?

Explorer is a lighter entry point. Navigator is the full experience.

Explorer gives you access to core insights and select content. Navigator unlocks deeper tools, guided pathways, events, and community features designed for ongoing integration.

What do I get in Navigator?

Navigator members receive:

  • Full access to Self-Inventories and insights
  • Deeper guided courses and pathways
  • Echo (our reflective AI companion)
  • Live and replayable virtual events
  • Community spaces for shared reflection
  • Stillness and integration practices

Navigator is for those who want continuity, depth, and support over time.

What if I’m already in therapy or coaching?

That’s completely okay.

Many people use Framed Minds alongside therapy or coaching as a way to:

  • Develop clearer language
  • Notice patterns between sessions
  • Reflect without pressure

Framed Minds is designed to complement—not replace—other forms of support.

What if I’m in a crisis?

Framed Minds is not designed for crisis support.

If you are in immediate danger, experiencing thoughts of self-harm, or need urgent help, please contact local emergency services or a qualified mental health professional right away.

Can I redo the assessment?

Yes. You can retake the Self-Inventory every 30 days.

This allows you to notice shifts, patterns, or changes over time without constantly re-analyzing yourself.

How do events work?

Framed Minds hosts live virtual events, workshops, and discussions.

Some events are educational, others are experiential. You can attend live or watch replays (depending on your membership).

Events are optional—you choose what feels supportive.

Can I use Framed Minds on web + mobile?

Yes. Framed Minds is accessible on web and mobile, so you can engage in a way that fits your life.

You are not broken. You are framed.
